As the lead designer, editor, and publisher for the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding Crotalus through its final chapter at The Orme School. Originally founded in 1967, the paper has had a sporadic but spirited history, and from 2021 to 2025, my students and I have infused it with fresh energy. Each quarterly issue blends humor, information, and interactive fun—featuring articles, gossip, a crossword puzzle, and even a keychain scavenger hunt. Students eagerly flip through its pages, and at year’s end, we celebrate standout contributors in photography, writing, and art, ensuring Crotalus goes out with the same creativity and excitement that has defined its legacy.
