TIME KEEPER
Born from a self-portrait assignment in my graphic design course, Time Keeper was an exercise in both technical skill and abstract thinking. Students were challenged to use their newly developed Illustrator pen tool techniques to create an icon, mascot, or illustration that represents them as designers. My example project evolved into a surreal yet composed figure—a being with a stopwatch for a head, cosmic hands, and a clay-potted snake plant at its center. Distinguished, psychedelic, yet effortlessly casual, Time Keeper has since taken on a life of its own, embodying the balance between structure and creativity that defines my design approach.
